lI know exactly when I fell in love with the purple & dark blue as a young marine biology student in Bermuda in 1991!
Nothing will prepare you for the riot of in the purple-blue spectrum than diving in the nutrient-poor (super blue) waters of the Sargasso Sea. So here I am 30 years later still recreating one of the best combinations nature can throw at you!

For me this necklace comes alive through the oceanic mix and the rawness of some of the stones (sea sediment Jasper) juxtaposed with thebarrel Amethyst & Lapis Lazuli beads, the roughly faceted glass beads from Malta or the Crazy Lace Agate petals from Mexico.
